Mr Aaron

Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Troupes, Private Lessons

Aaron John is a highly passionate dance instructor specialising in many styles including Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Bollywood, Jazz, and Heels.

Aaron began his official studio training at Davin GJ’s in Sydney, and then at the School of Contemporary Dance with Natalie Brooke. He also kept up his dance training in other styles with various workshops and classes at Body Beats as well as the Sydney Dance Company. 

Aaron studied and graduated from Northmead Creative and Performing Arts High School specialising in Dance and Drama. 

Out of high school he completed Urban Dance Centres 2007 full time performing Arts course under the directorship of Julliete Verne and Veronica Beattie where he studied all areas of dance, acting and ensemble singing. After graduating, he followed this by completing the 2008 Urban Dance Centre scholarship programme with Julliette Verne, where he signed with Detour Management and more recently with Dargie Entertainment.

Between the years of 2008-2019 Aaron co-directed Divasnap Studios, teaching all dance styles and all age groups. As well as previously owning his own studio, Aaron has been an Eisteddfod choreographer for many studios in Sydney over the space of 15 years creating winning national routines in the dance and cheer comp world for various clubs and studios.

Aaron was in the feature film “Unindian” (Dancer and dance captain). He has featured in television commercials for Telstra, Foxtel, Uncle Ben’s sauces as well as appearing on TV shows including NCIS Sydney, The Last King Of The Cross, So you think you can dance (Australia Season 1 Top 60)

We welcomed Mr Aaron to our teaching staff in 2023, and Mr Aaron is excited to be apart of the Studi-O family.
